Iphone 4 Voice Input Not Working?

Today I bought my iPhone 4. This night I made my first phone call, and the person on the receiving line could not hear me unless I put them on speaker. I could hear them clearly even though they could not hear me. I turned volume all the way up and everything. Any suggestions? I also know it wasn’t their phone because I also tried to call someone else and had the same problem. Thanks.
